About the event
Chickens & Chores: Farm Skills for Families is a hands-on, family-friendly workshop hosted by Grow With Krys at Rucker Farm Co. in collaboration with Pride Lands Farming.
This experience is designed to introduce families to real farm life through interactive learning. Participants will learn the basics of caring for chickens, take part in daily farm chores, and gain a deeper understanding of responsibility, food systems, and sustainable living.
This is not just for kids — everyone is welcome. Families will learn and participate together, making it a meaningful experience for both children and adults.
During this workshop, you will:
Learn the basics of chicken care (feeding, water, shelter)
Participate in hands-on farm chores
